Primary Therapist

Raised in the Virgin Islands, Stewart moved to the US to pursue education on the East Coast and has lived in New York City, Tampa Bay, and Vail, Colorado before moving to California. Leaving behind a career in Operations Management, he pursued in-depth Buddhist and Mindfulness Meditation studies, becoming a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and a Buddhist Meditation Facilitator.

Stewart completed his MA in counseling psychology and has been providing relational counseling in the Bay Area. He approaches therapy from an East/West synthesis, focusing on evidence-based practices in combination with spiritual approaches to wellness. He is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.

Certified by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-III), Stewart has many years of experience specializing in substance use counseling.
