Alla Poberesky, PsyD


Dr. Poberesky earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a UCLA-Certified Mindfulness Facilitator, having trained at the Mindfulness Awareness Research Center (MARC) at UCLA. She is an integrative therapist with a strong foundation as both a long-time mindfulness practitioner and trained teacher, she brings a grounded, present-centered approach to her work, supporting clients in cultivating awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.

Since 2013, Dr. Poberesky, who speaks fluent Russian, has worked extensively in the field of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, specializing in dual diagnosis with a particular focus on trauma. She uses a trauma-informed, client-centered approach and is dedicated to creating a safe, responsive therapeutic space.

In addition to individual therapy, Dr. Poberesky has extensive experience facilitating therapeutic groups, where she brings her depth of clinical knowledge, attunement, and mindfulness-based practices to support connection, growth, and healing in a group setting.

Dr. Poberesky’s work is informed by training in a variety of evidence-based practices. She draws from attachment-based models, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), relational frameworks, and mindfulness-based interventions, adapting her approach to meet each client’s unique needs with flexibility, skill, and care.
