Andrea Garrett, LMFT, CMAT, CSAT
Andrea (Drea) Garrett, LMFT, CSAT, CMAT has dual certifications from the International Institute of Trauma & Addiction as a Certified Sex and Multiple Addictions Therapist with a focus in Substance Use Disorders. Drea earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley (Go Bears!), and her Master’s Degree from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga.
Drea comes to Alta Mira with over 15 years of experience in mental health and addiction services. She has worked in the mental health drug treatment court, adolescent and adult psychiatric emergency services hospital and crisis units, and as a part of the street crisis response team in San Francisco. She has also worked extensively with the unhoused populations in the cities of San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. In addition to community mental health, she also works in a group practice that focuses on treating sex and pornography addictions and betrayal trauma.
